PJ VERHOEST recently appeared as young Peter Allen in the Broadway production of "The Boy From OZ" starring Hugh Jackman. He also performed at the Lincoln Center Theatre in the production of "The Rivals" with Dana Ivey and Richard Easton. He began performing at the age of 8 as "Chip" in the National Tour 2000 of "Beauty & the Beast." He played Travis in the Rogers & Hammerstein Broadway production of "Oklahoma!" PJ's Off-Broadway credits include "King of Shadows" in which he played the lead of Nat and Shakespeare's "Puck." He also performed in "Tusk" for the New York Musical Theatre Festival, "White Widow," James in "James and the Giant Peach" and The Transport Group's "The Giving Tree." PJ performed in the opening number of the 2004 Tony Awards. He has performed in many New York City ballets such as "The Nutcracker," "Swan Lake" and "Le Corsaire" and the creative production of one of the most exciting choreographers, Christopher Wheeldon, in "The Carnival of the Animals" as Young Oliver. He has recently played the lead in a film written and directed by Charles Busch and Carl Andress called "A Very Serious Person," starring Polly Bergen and Dana Ivey. He also will be appearing in a film written and directed by M. Blash called "Lying." He has done various industrials such as Full Frontal Fashion's promotion for the movie "102 Dalmations" and performed for the merger of Disney's fashion line for K-Mart. He has appeared on television on the "Conan O'Brien Show." PJ has also done numerous staged readings and voiceovers for children's books and CD recordings.
