GENE BISCONTINI began his career at the age of 7 playing the roles of Fritz and the Little Nutcracker in "Broadway Nutcracker" at the Manhattan Center. He returned to the Manhattan Center in "Broadway Cinderella" featured as the Prince's Page. In 2001-2002 he joined the touring company of "The People Garden" rotating the roles of Barry, David and Chuck and played the roles of Barry and Chuck in "The People Garden's" off-Broadway run at the York Theater. Gene spent more then 2 years on the road traveling in the National tours of "Seussical the Musical" as Jo Jo and "Oliver" as Captain/Spider and in the title role of Oliver for many performances. Between shows he has held parts in many independent films, most notably Walls, The Empty Building, and Welcome to America Brian Wong as well as participating in readings and workshops for Andy the Musical, Rancho Cucamunga, Willy Wonka, and Dear Edwina. He was proud to be a part of The We're Still Standing Company during the tragedy of 9/11 that spread a message of hope and support to family, friends, and volunteers during the tragedy. Gene has also made TV appearances in a Tribute to Ron Howard(BRAVO), ZOOM(PBS), and Goulagogo(PBS). An avid dancer, Gene has trained in tap, ballet, jazz and hip hop forms of dance. When not performing, Gene now passes on his knowledge to young students in the hopes of inspiring them to follow their dreams of someday making it to the bright lights of Broadway.
