ATHENA RIPKA has appeared on Broadway in Irving Berlin's White Christmas as Susan Waverly and How The Grinch Stole Christmas as Cindy Lou Who. Off -Broadway Athena played Michelle in Circle of Friends at The American Girl Theatre. Other favorite roles include Tiger Lilly, Eloise, and Madeline. Athena sang in the Metropolitan Operas Tosca, Pagliocci, Caveleria Rusticana, and Manon with Renee Fleming. Athena danced in New York City Ballets Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Circus Polka as well as Tap City. Athena has played violin at Carnegie Hall and in the movie The Good Shepard, directed by Robert DeNiro. Athena's voice can be heard on recordings as well as on Wonder Pets, Sesame Street, and the Electric Company.
