CASSIDY LADDEN began her professional career as the original “Pepper” in the Broadway production of “Annie.”  Subsequently, reprising her role in the concert version of “Annie Get Your Gun” at Lincoln Center, she played the original Jessie in the Broadway production of that musical.  Cassidy sings on many commercial recordings—as a soloist on “Sondheim at the Movies,” “The American Girl Revue Album” and “The Broadway Kids Back on Broadway,” as a backup singer on “Jewel: A Holiday Album” and “A Walk to Remember,” as well as on demo recordings of many new musicals in development.  Her lead roles include the title role in “Annie” and Mary Lennox in “Secret Garden”—both at the North Shore Music Theater in Massachusetts, and she can be heard in many jingles and voiceovers.  Most recently, she appears in several movies, including USA Films’ “Wet Hot American Summer” (as Mallrat), and as a foul-mouthed hockey player in “Igby Goes Down,” soon to be released by United/Artists MGM.  She is currently working on a pop album.
