BARRY CAVANAGH was last seen as John Darling in "Peter Pan" with Cathy Rigby on the national tour (formerly at the Gershwin Theater). He was part of the Madison Square Garden production of "A Christmas Carol" with Roger Daltrey and played the part of Young Michael in "Elijah’s Angel" at the New England Conservatory. Barry appeared in West Virginia Public Theater’s production of "Shenandoah" as Robert Anderson. Barry’s prior roles include Newsboy in "Gypsy" with Betty Buckley, James Rodgers in "Will Rodgers Follies," Young Abel in "Children of Eden" and part of the Company in "Big River," all for the Paper Mill Playhouse. Barry was awarded a prestigious “Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Award" for Outstanding Child Actor for his portrayal of Young Patrick Dennis in "Mame." He was also awarded a full scholarship to their Theatre Conservatory in recognition of this award. Barry is featured as Young Abel on the Original Cast Recording of "Children of Eden" on RCA Records. Barry has also appeared on television in "As The World Turns" and "Late Night With David Letterman."
