ALEXA EISENSTEIN has appeared Off-Broadway starring opposite Frances McDormand in the critically acclaimed "Far Away" at the New York Theatre Workshop, directed by Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot/ The Hours).  She has also performed in many of the roles in the Off-Broadway musical "The People Garden" at the York Theater, written and directed by Paul Armento.  She will also be seen in the upcoming Off-Broadway musical, "The New Kid," also by Mr. Armento.  Alexa was involved in the tri-state area tours of "The People Garden" and still tours with "The New Kid," performing a total of 18 roles with both shows over the past 5 years.  Other stage credits include "The Children's Hour," a Lincoln Center Theater Reading with Lynn Redgrave, a film reading of "Like Never Before" with Ron Rifkin and readings of "The Orphan Train" and "Dear Edwina."  Other favorite productions include "The King and I," "Children of Eden," "Made in America" and "Hee Haw Hayride."  Alexa's film credits include "The Hebrew Hammer" and the upcoming "Life on the Ledge."  Alexa also had the honor of working with director Michel Gondrey on a commercial for EDF, a national French company.  Her television credits and appearances include CNN, Zoom, News 12 NJ, The Intrepid, FAO Schwartz, South Street Seaport, NJ Jackals and Mattel. Alexa can also be heard on the recording of "We're Still Standing," and will be featured on the upcoming CD of "The New Kid."  In addition to singing and acting, Alexa loves skateboarding, figure skating, anime and playing with her kitty, Tabitha. She is thrilled to be a part of The Broadway Kids!
